Context menus

EP Help General > Menus & Controls

The context menu allows you to access the most common actions that can be performed on an item in one click. It is called context menu because it gives access to different actions depending on the item in question, or, as it were, it ‘senses’ the context in which the menu is opened.

A general rule is: if a row, that is part of a list of items, such as projects, activities, assignees, etc., changes color as you are mousing over it, the row has a context menu you can use.

If there is a hyperlink within a context-menu row, clicking on the link will not trigger the menu, but will have the effect the hyperlink is designed to produce. For this reason, avoid clicking on project or activity names, or anything that appears to be a hyperlink, while trying to pop up a context menu.
